LOWER MARSH
BAKERY
The ground floor and basement floor businesses are carefully fitted to the needs of elderly people. A bakery including a small café has been designed. It can be divided into 3 main spaces: the shop and the café at the ground floor and the bakery at the basement. The interior is adjusted to the needs of the elderly population while the design is contemporary. The shop is marked by a timber panel façade which structure works sound reducing and merges into the bread display and the sales counter. Moreover, the furniture has been chosen according to a feeling of security and stability as well as a lively design.

GROCERY STORE
The Grocery Store is clearly laid out to make it easy to navigate through the shop. The shelves that display the products are at the optimal heights to pick up an item, situated between 600mm and 1800mm from the finished floor level. Additionally, a counter sideboard has been designed to enable a shopper to put down their shopping basket. As the shop occupies 2 floors, a dumbwaiter has been added to take a shopping basket from one floor to the other.
